He married (1) October 6, 1880, in Wilson County, TN, Alice Forbes, born September 4, 1861, in TN, died December 12, 1916, in Nashville, TN, daughter of J.W. and Katherine (Shannon) Forbes. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. He married (2) April 4, 1920, in Nashville, Mollie L. Caneer, born 1872.
