Aloma G. Bischoff, 83, went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2009, with her family by her side.

A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Guarding Angels Cemetery, 2595 Road L N.E., Moses Lake with Rev. Mark Bassett, Hospice Chaplain officiating.

Aloma was born October 2, 1926, in Hunters, Washington to John and Edith (Sims) Kappel. She married her childhood sweetheart, Norman Bischoff, on August 29, 1945, in Ruff, Washington. They made their home in Ruff area, where they farmed. Aloma loved to read, crochet, bake and decorate cakes. She also enjoyed researching her family's heritage. She also served as a Sunday School teacher at the Marlin Presbyterian Church. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren for her "Grandma Stories" and the time they spent with her during wheat harvest. Other precious memories of Aloma include her German cooking and her love of dancing with "Grandpa."

Aloma is survived by her daughters; Kathy (Bob) Trammell of Moses Lake, Vicki (Don) Underhill of Warden, and Mary-Ellen (Walter) Spier of Magnolia, Texas; granddaughters; Heidi (Troy) Ragan, Krystal (Tod) Haneberg, Sami (Cory) Savage. Also included are six great-grandchildren: Kellan Roellich, Kyler, Ashlyn, and Serina Haneberg, Presten and Kailee Savage. She is also survived by her three sisters; Jackie (Jim) Garrison of Moses Lake, Georgia (Verlin) Elliot of Everett, and Sparkie Bushbaum of Federal Way, Washington. Aloma was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, an infant daughter, Robin, son-in-law, Monty Ring, and her parents.
