Dorothy Capps, 72, of Garvin, died Saturday in Texarkana, Texas. She was born July 9, 1920, in Garvin.
She was a member of the Farmersville Freewill Baptist Church in Garvin.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Capps; two brothers, Ernest Capps and Willis Capps; and one sister, Omie Whisenhunt.
She is survived by one brother, Eugene Capps of Garvin; three sisters, Zela Whisenhunt of Wright City, Nadine Surridge of Valliant, and Oneta Cowen of Oklahoma City; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held today at Wright City Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jimmy Smalling officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery.
