GREENSBORO- Wayne T. Alexander, 70, of Greensboro born on Oct. 7, 1935, in Greensboro, passed away on Monday, Jan. 30, 2006.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Sedgefield Baptist Church, 6007 High Point Road, Greensboro with interment to follow at Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis H. Alexander Sr., and Joy Bell Tussey Alexander; two brothers, and one sister.

His immediate survivors are his wife, Patsy (Pat) Bell Alexander; sons, Tom and his wife, Donna and Brian and his wife, Christian; daughter Deborah Shelton and her husband, Terry; grandchildren, Stephanie, Brandon, Holden, and Collin. He was employed by Burlington Industries for 20 years, and at the time of his death he was a Broker/Realtor at Keller Williams Realty. He was a charter member and Chaplain of the Four Seasons Civitan Club, and an active member of Sedgefield Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and received his B.S. degree in mathematics from Guilford College.
