Phyllis I. (Davis) Stumbaugh, 84, of 11807 Koons Road, Waynesboro, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in the home of her son on Koons Road.

Born October 10, 1931, in Greencastle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Alice (Bingaman) Davis.

Mrs. Stumbaugh lived in the Greencastle and Waynesboro areas all of her adult life.

She and her husband, the late Walter Henry Stumbaugh, were married on June 19, 1954 in Hagerstown, MD. They moved to their home in Waynesboro in 1957. Mr. Stumbaugh passed away November 21, 2012.

Mrs. Stumbaugh worked as a secretary at Stumbaugh's Fuel Service and as a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Waynesboro.

She is survived by two sons: Larry E. Stumbaugh of Waynesboro and Harold H. Stumbaugh and his wife, Karen of Waynesboro; two grandchildren: Lacy Snively and Zachary Stumbaugh; two great-grandchildren: Cameron and Madisyn; one brother, Clayton Davis of Waynesboro and one sister, Delores Birely of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 South Broad St., Waynesboro, with Pastor Timothy Clothier officiating. Burial will follow in Antietam Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday evening, in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Ave. Waynesboro, PA 17268.
