Oscar Leonard Barnes, 61, of 625 Virginia Ave., Oceana, died in a Virginia Beach hospital Tuesday after long illness.
A lifelong resident of Princess Anne County, he was a son of Leonard Oscar and Mrs. Lula Mae Allen Barnes.
Surviving are two sisters,, Mrs. Nellie Widgeon of Oceana and Mrs. T.A. Grillo of Norfolk; and two brothers, Elzi Leroy Barnes of Princess Anne County and Eddie Norman Barnes of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be conducted in Maestas Funeral Home Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Samuel D. Beiler Jr., pastor of First Assembly of God Church, Oceana. Burial will be in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, London Bridge.
