Clark Mills – Kedar Abaied, 83, a former designer for the Hinds and Harrison Plush Co., here, died Feb. 5 in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 18, 1884, in D?ue, Syria, and came to America in 1907. He married Gelemia Esper in 1916 in Detroit, and they came to Clark Mills in 1921. Mr. Abaied retired from the Hind and Harrison Co. in 1949. He was a member of the Mohammedan Church in Detroit, the Young Men's Akar Society of Utica and the Clark Mills Fire Department.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Donald Titus, Salt Lake City, Utah, three sons, Hamad, Huntsville, Ala., Sided, Detroit, and James , Rochester. The Koran will be read at 8 tomorrow evening in Owens Funeral Home, Clinton, and prayer services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today and tomorrow.
