Funeral services for Appleton C. Amerson, 53, who died yesterday, will be held tomorrow at the Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, with the Rev. Beaty of the Parrish Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park.

Mr. Amerson was a native of Laurens County, Georgia. He came to Bradenton 18 years ago from Soperton, Ga., and had resided at 1321 1/2 Eleventh Street W.

He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Lorease McKenzie, of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Inell Hollman, Soperton, Ga., Miss Audrey Amerson, Atlanta, Ga., Miss Imogene Amerson, Soperton, Ga., Miss Mary Lee Amerson, of Soperton.

Two sons, Eugene of New York City and Pfc. Tervern, Fort Bragg, N.C.; three grandchildren and two brothers, J.R. Amerson of Bradenton and F.J. of Winter Haven.

Eight sisters, Mrs. Cleve Criswell, Wrightsville, Ga., Mrs. J.C. Soles, Wrightsville, Ga., Mrs. Roman Howell, Dublin, Ga., Mrs. R.A. Odom, Bradenton, Mrs. Ralph Braddy, Soperton, Ga., Mrs. R.W. Christie, Ellenton, Mrs. W.E. Christian, Bradenton, and Mrs. Lake Brantley, Soperton, Ga.
