Ormsbee honored on 50th wedding
Lyon Mountain -- Mr. and Mrs. Emery Ormsbee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, 28 October, with an open house, in their home there.
A dinner was held in their honor, 29 October, in the Pine Room, of the Methodist Church. The dinner was prepared by the women of the WSCS organization, of the church.
Mrs. Ormsbee is the former Christina Greenhou [Greenhow] of Scotland. Mr. Ormsbee was born in Saranac. He retired from Republic Steel Corporation, in 1958.
The couple had two children. A Son, Joseph, who died in 1965, and their Daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Dealissia, who lives in Brooklyn. They have two Grand-Children and three Great-Grand-Children.
