Mrs. Katie Elizabeth Baer, aged 59 years, died at 6:15 PM Thursday at her home at Cress Station, south of Waynesboro. Her illness dated from the time four years ago when she fell on the cellar steps and fractured her leg. She had been bedfast for the last three weeks. Angina pectoris was the casue of death.
Mrs. Baer was the widow of J.H. Baer who died 11 years ago. She lived at Zullinger until her marriage in 1896 and moved to Cress Station where she lived for the last 38 years.
She is survived by four children, one brother and three sisters.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2:30 PM at the home. Burial will be made in Price's cemetery, near Waynesboro.
