Age 93, of Shorewood, died on Friday, January 30, 2009. She was born in Webster, ND and resided in Joliet most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1992; a daughter, Betty in infancy; her parents, Richard and Amanda (Kettwig) Wilda; five brothers and one sister.



She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary (Kinzler) Gengler of Joliet; her sons, William (Geneva) of Davenport, IA and James (Connie) of Elgin; she is also survived by nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren; three brothers; one sister and two sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and very good friends, Nancy Kinzler and Robert and Jean Fitzer.



She was a life member of FOE Eagles 1024 of Morris and also a member of FOE Joliet 377; Gleaner Life Insurance Society member for over 60 years; CCW Woman of the Year from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; Eucharistic Minister and Food Pantry Volunteer. She was also an avid White Sox, Bears and Bulls fan. She enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sewing, crocheting, and loved working puzzles.



Funeral services for Josephine A. Kinzler will be Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Memorials in her name to St. John's Food Pantry or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation Monday 3-8 p.m. at:
