The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Bennie Frederick Adams will be Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Wehadkee Baptist Church in the Abbottsford Community. Rev Otis Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Adams, a native of LaGrange, GA was born September 15, 1937, and was the son of the late Mary Patillo and Benny Williams. He was employed for many years with the Troup County School System until his retirement.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lucille Adams; three loving daughters, Jennifer Adams, Laura (Henry) Hurston, LaGrange; Emma Robinson, Long Beach, CA; one son, Roy Robinson, LaGrange; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Adams, Enterprise, AL; loving and caring cousin, Willie Mae Brooks, LaGrange; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; his Jack Russell: "Tango"; and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Stan Adams and Donald Adams.
The family will be at the home of his cousin, Willie Mae Brooks at 125 Brenda Boulevard.
Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
