Gilbert F. Byrns , 84, formerly of Route 30, Boylston, died Tuesday at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. Born in Amboy, he lived in Boylston for 50 years before moving to the Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown, in 1990. He retired from the town of Boylston Highway Department. Survivors: Two nieces, Helen Philips of Pulaski and Celestine Kerr of Sandy Creek; two nephews, Robert Byrns of Hastings and Kenneth Byrns of Morton, Pa. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Summerville Funeral Home, 1997 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek. Burial, Wesleyan Cemetery, Lacona. No calling hours.
