services and burial of Truman, son of Harry Smith, of New Windsor, who was accidentally killed in New Windsor, Tuesday, December
5, 1922, was held at Winter's Lutheran Church, on Saturday, the 9th, and was
among the largest held for some time.The funeral was in charge of Rev. J.
Walter Englar, of the Brethren Church, and Rev. Randle, of the New
Windsor M.P. Church. The casket was covered with beautiful flowers
from the family and friends. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
The deceased is survived by his widow and one son, Stanley, his mother,
Mrs. Sallie Smith, six brothers, Arthur and Edgar, of Dayton, Ohio; Carroll,
Earl and Orville, at home, near Marston and Guy Smith, of this city; also
by four sisters, Mrs. Harry Englar, of Medford; Mrs. Thomas Stevenson, this
city, and Misses Edna and Myrtle Smith, at the home of his mother.
Harvey Bankard & Son, of Westminster, had charge of the service.
