Jack W. Andris, Sr., 90, Neosho, died January 28, 2014 at Freeman Neosho ER, following an illness. Mr. Andris was born April 4, 1923 in Cheyenne, OK . He served in the U. S. Army during WW II and moved to the SW Missouri area in 1950. He was a meat cutter for many years, retiring in 1988 and was a cattle farmer. He volunteered in many community organizations and currently was active in the CASA program and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho. Jack and Marketa Ashworth were married in 1943 and she survives of the home. Also surviving are a son, Jack Andris, Jr. and wife, Diane, Neosho; a daughter, Sherry Sweckard and husband, Frank, Springfield; a grandson, Jeremy Sweckard and wife, Stephanie, Frisco, TX; two great granddaughters, Sophia and Scarlett and a sister, Kay Wormington, Jackson, MO. Jack is preceded in death by a sister, Faye Reger and a brother, Joe Andris, Jr.
