The son of Harold Glen Adkins and Margie Maxine Adkins (nee) Mullins. He is survived by a daughter, Brittany E. Adkins or North Carolina; two brothers, Willie J. Adkins of Millington, Tenn., and Gary G. Adkins of Fredericksburg, VA; three sisters, Mary A.Canami of Aberdeen, Glenda E. Davis of Mt.Pleasant, Tenn., and Sharon K. Smith of Edgewood.
Services were held Friday at the Howard K. McComas III Funeral Home. Dr. Allen R.Carr and the Rev. Jennings Dotson officiated.Pallbearers were Barry Adkins, Michael Fender, Randy Stottler, J.E. Stanley, Jimmy and Gregory Mullins, Edward Stanley. Honorary pallbearers were Jr. Scott and D.J. Mullins. RIP.
