Born to Clarence and Della Carnesecca Smith in 1942.
Carol was a kind, wonderful, caring person. She loved caring for her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents; and two brothers. She is survived by her sister, Jean (Smith) Hardman; children, Leann Solomon (Troy), Kim Mcquiston (Matt), Richard Wiley (Teri), and Steven Wiley (Sherrie); grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
We would like to give our many thanks to the staff at Jordan Valley Medical Center for giving her care and comfort in her last days.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4355 West 4100 South, West Valley City, followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m. in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3560 West 3650 South, West Valley City.
