Lucille was born on June 3, 1918, a daughter of the late Edna (McHenry) Starky and Emmett Starky. She was the widow of Karl (Jim) U. McCorkle.
She is survived by son, James E. Martin; step-son Steve McCorkle, of Milroy; brother Emmett (Dink) J. Starky of Broadway, Ohio; step grandson Scott McCorkle, of Fishers; step grandson Mark McCorkle, of Muncie; seven step great grandchildren; and special friend Marcia Kuhn.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
She worked as a bookkeeper and owner of McCorkle Stone Company. During WWII she worked as rosey the riveter and at JC Penney. She attended Milroy Methodist Church and was a member Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 at Burns Funeral Home, Milroy with Rev Teri Crouse officiating.
Burial will follow in Old Milroy Cemetery.
