Nancy Green Stice, daughter of Andrew and Nancy (Wilson) Stice, was born in Kentucky but moved to Illinois as a young girl. Her family settled in Madison County, Illinois.

She married Andrew Terry in Madison County, Illinois on 10 May 1827. They were the parents of four children: George, Sarah, Minta and a child who died as an infant. Andrew Terry died 28 June 1836.

Nancy married John C. Bond in January 1844 in Warren County, Illinois. They were the parents of two daughters: Canzada S. and Cordelia. John C. Bond died on 20 May 1882 and is buried in the family cemetery (Bond Cemetery) in Warren County, Illinois.

Nancy was featured in a group of six generations in the Chicago Daily Tribune, Chicago, Illinois on 29 October 1905. The family is listed as: Mrs. Nancy Bond, Warren County, Ill.; J. C. Johnson, Mrs. Susannah Johnson, Mrs. P. K. Karnes, Mrs. Milton Chambers, and David Ross Chambers.

Nancy died less than a year later and is buried in Bond Cemetery.
