Mary E. Garrett, daughter of N.T. and Martha Garrett, died 12 Sep 1894, aged 25 years, 11 months, 16 days, and was buried in Union Cemetery. She left her parents, four brothers, and three sisters. Her grandfather Garrett came to Union County from Montgomery Co., Tenn., and settled five miles east of Dongola. Her mother was the daughter of Solomon Dillow, who lived two miles west of Dongola.
