Her sister Sarah Emma Medina Fletcher was born on the ship coming to Australia. Victorian shipping records. She married John Dempsey Porteous on the 30 January 1867 at Carngham. They moved to Birregurra just before their youngest daughter Medina Daisy Porteous was born in 1884. They lived in Birregurra with other family members for the rest of their lives.
