Mrs. Fred Abram Rites Here Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Abram, 66, of Long Beach, Calif., the former Hazel Robison of Nevada, were held from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada Saturday, Dec. 31, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Spencer of Nevada Central Presbyterian church officiating. Burial was in the family lost in the Nevada cemetery.

The casket bearers were Jesse Barker, Carl Hertz, Harold Tipton, Clay Robison, Forrest Robison and Chas. F. Wilson.

Obituary

Hazel Robison Abram was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robison, long time Story County residents. She was born on a farm south of Nevada on November 11, 1889.

She completed her schooling in Nevada, graduating form the Nevada High School. Hazel Robison married Mr. Fred T. Abram, and made her home in Long Beach, Calif., for the past 15 years. There she was active in the Women's City Club, being a Life Member of the Laurelmay group of that organization. She was a member of the Church of Religious Science in Long Beach.

In Nevada she was a member of the Presbyterian Church, past State President of the Daughters of Union Veterans, member of the D.A.R., member of the Nevada Chapter 296 O.E.S. and at one time was a board member of the Story County Farm Bureau.

Mrs. Abram suffered a stroke on Dec. 5 and was in a coma until her passing on Dec. 19 in the Seaside Hospital of Long Beach.

She is survived by her husband, Fred T. Abrams, of Long Beach, California, her uncle Bert Robison of Nevaa, and by a number of cousins.
