Myrtle was the daughter of Robert Edwards and Hazel Maude Austin of Norman, California and later residing in the Willows, Princeton. She lived in the Live Oak areas before settling in Marysville prior to her marriage to Clyde Bush in November of 1940.

Myrtle worked with Clyde in the family photography business at Bush Studio for 25 years and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Marysville for 71 years. She was a ham radio enthusiast and enjoyed participating with her husband; she loved to communicate by letter (and eventually e-mail) with acquaintances in Japan and Germany.

Myrtle passed away at her daughter's home in Lakeport, California where she had resided since late Oct. 2009.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clyde; and is survived by her daughter Carol, her sons Larry and Terry as well as five grandchildren.

A Memorial service was held Wednesday December 30th at 2 PM at the First United Methodist Church, 730 D St. Marysville, CA. Memorial contributions were made to the Marysville Methodist Church.

She was the sister of Ivan F. Edwards and Haidee M. Edwards.
