Charles M. "Sugar" Fuller, 75, of Axtell, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at his residence. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel, with Monsignor Isidore Rozychi officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Elk. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Charles Minor was born in Prairie Hill, Texas, to the late Carl and Amelia (Skinner) Fuller. He graduated from Axtell High School in 1946, where he was on the first Axtell football team. In February of 1959, he married Cecelia Wachsman. Sugar was a past Master of Prairie Hill Masonic Lodge #741 and worked at General Tire & Rubber Company in Waco for over 30 years. He also served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John, Paul C. and Cecil.

Survivors include his wife, Cecelia "Sweetie" Fuller, of Axtell; daughter, Gail Flannery and husband, Todd, of Houston; son, Terry Fuller and wife, Leanne, of Lorena; grandchildren, Justin, Kelly and Trey; five great-grandchildren; and special friend, Sambo.
