Death Claims
Ida P. Ludwick

In failing health for the past year, Ida Pearl Ludwick, 55, died at 8 a.m. Thursday at her home four miles south of Ridgeville. She was the wife of Cecil Ludwick.

Surviving other than the husband, are two sons, Wendall of Ridgeville and Guy of Winchester, one daughter, Etta Bell Ludwick of Indianapolis and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the New Dayton Church in charge of Rev George Addington. burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

The body will be returned to the home from Middleton Mortuary in Ridgeville this morning.

Ida was the daughter of John N. Huffman & Flora B.Ulon Both buried in the same
cemetery as Ida.

Grandparents:
Simon Huffman & Susannah McNees 1822-1901 & Simon Huffman 1830-1894
Susannah also married his brother John Huffman.

Great Grandparents:
Jehu McNees & Mary Ann Yeakley 1797-1872 (Quakers)

GGrandparents:
Henry Yeakley and Susannah McNees ( different from Simons wife. they were
cousins and so was Juhu a second cousin)
This Susannah ran the underground railroad for runaway slaves in Greene Co.,
Tennesse which New Hope Montly Meeting was in Rheatown, Greene Co., Tennessee.

GGGrandparents:
George Yeakley REV WAR and Anna Deppen.

I have a good dozen or so more generations above Anna Deppen. George served in Rodgers Rangers in PA in the Indiana Wars and Berks Co., Militia during the REV
WAR. He is listed with the DAR.
