Johnny Lynn Neff entered the gates of glory on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Graveside service: to follow in Memory Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Johnny was born Aug. 26, 1953, in Crosbyton. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Nonda and Noble Neff. Friends and family, when asked, describe Johnny with these words: provider, wise, loyal, kind, generous, forgiving, thoughtful, faithful, honest, grateful, compassionate and genuine. He was always loyal to family, friends and employees. Johnny was a quiet man, but when he spoke, his words were always kind and honest; he was a reflective man. He loved his family beyond measure, especially his wife, Sally, and son, Brandon. Although his later years were not ones of good health, he never complained and was always grateful for everything, never demanding nor expecting anyone's time. He fought a courageous battle to the very end. Johnny grew up in McAdoo, where he graduated from high school, then attended Western Texas Junior College in Snyder and Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. He owned and operated KMI Fabricators, Inc. He loved playing tennis and spending time with his family. Survivors: Wife of 36 years, Sally Neff; son, Brandon Neff; brothers, Roy Neff, and Alan Neff and his wife, Carolyn; sisters, Natalie Neff, and Mary Harkins and her husband, Travis.
