Douglas Irene Husband, 66, of La Grange, died Nov. 4, 2005, in Louisville.

She was born Dec. 30, 1938, in Jeffersontown to William Eldridge and Bessie Lee Barnett.

She was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Level Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth R. Husband; a son, Mark Husband of La Grange; a daughter, Kentrena (Don) Story of La Grange; two sisters, Margaret (Tom) Doerr of Jeffersontown and Lucille (Ralph) Whitworth of Three Rivers, Mich.; two brothers, Amster Eldridge and Adolph (Alma) Eldridge, both of Crestwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were Monday at Arch L. Heady Radcliffe Funeral Home in La Grange, with John Auten offciating. Burial followed in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.

Pallbearers were Vince McIntosh, Donnie Cole, Wayne Kincaid, Dallas Drury, Troy Woosley and Jim Cooper.

Memorial gifts may go to Hospice of Louisville or American Diabetes Association.
