Ambrose 'Tim' Bruns,95, of Brookville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at McCullough-Hyde Hospital in Oxford.

Tim was born in Oak Forest on November 9, 1916 and was the Son of Bernard and Mary Lithman Bruns. He was married to Edna Meyer who preceded him in death. Tim was a lifelong farmer and also did some trucking.

Surviving are his children - Lester ( Joe Ann ) Bruns of Brookville, Ivan ( Joyce ) Bruns of Connersville, Alice ( Glen ) Stang of Brookville, Jane Selm of Brookville, Ronald ( Bonnie )Bruns of Brookville, Linda ( Jim ) Worm of Chaska, Minnesota, Cecil ( Paula ) Bruns of Brookville, also 22 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great, Great Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 11 Step-Great Grandchildren, and 7 Step-Great, Great Grandchildren, Sisters - Ruth Mergenthal and Leona Kalb both of Cincinnati.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife- Edna, Son- David Bruns, Grandsons- Ricky Bruns, and Jeff Selm, Sister- Rosemary Cowen, Brothers- Raymond, Arnold, Howard, Harold, Ralph, Wilfred and Jerome.

Visitation on Wednesday, February 29 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home - Brookville. Funeral Mass at St Michael Church - Brookville on Thursday, March 1 starting at 10:30 with burial following in St Michael Cemetery, Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM on Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
