Funeral services with full Military honors for Charlie Dawson Maberry will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at The Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church at 2:00pm. The burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Ronnie Dunn and the pallbearers will be Jerry Maberry, Charlie Ray Allen, Dennis Knight, James Maberry, Carl Knight and Tyler Knight.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral home on Friday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and on Saturday from 9:00am until 1:00pm and then leave in a procession to the Church for the funeral at 2:00pm.

Mr. Maberry was born on February 18, 1925 in Jackson County to the Late Jessie B. and Mottie Bockman Maberry. He passed away on January 22, 2014 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 88. Mr. Maberry was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shiner. He served in the Army and was a member of the Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church. He retired from the Chrysler corporation and was a founding member of the Dodson Branch Community Center. Survivors include, Son and daughter in-law: Curtis and Debra Maberry of Livingston TN 2 daughters and son in-law: Shelia Masters of Cookeville, TN and Michelle Schnell and husband Gary of Michigan. 2 Sisters: Vina Nelson and Hazel Laycox 3 Grandchildren: Sarah Schnell, Rachel Schnell and Dana Masters In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; Wife: Evelyn Maberry Brothers: Robert Maberry, Joe Maberry, Bruce Maberry Sisters: Carrie Bell Maberry, Leora Rector and Barbara Jean Maberry Son in-law: Danny Masters Whitson Funeral Home is in Charge of the Arrangements
