Eugene Joseph Dietsch, 93, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019. He was born on May 30, 1926 in Evansville to Albert and Anita (Neff) Dietsch.
He was a graduate of Memorial High School. Gene was a self-employed wallpaper hanger for 50 years and also worked in the LST ship factory during WWII. Gene was an active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and bowler who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 63 years, Patricia Ann (Rivelli) Dietsch; and brothers, Jack Dietsch (Eileen) and Tom Dietsch (Aggie).

He is survived by his daughters, Mary Pat Boarman and Annette Oldham (Kevin); grandchildren, Nicole Oldham (Kendall), Kyle Oldham, and Ann Boarman (Laurence); great-grandchildren, Reese Kendall, Taylor Kendall, Kameron Oldham, Kyleigh Oldham, and Sutton Boarman; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2301 North Stockwell Road, Evansville, Indiana 47715 officiated by Father Zach Etienne. Burial will follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
