Mrs. Doris Molene Marshall, 89, of the Clayton community went home to be with the Lord at 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2014, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Dennis Johnston and Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Sanders Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Jason Johnston, Bill Evans, Jr., Eric Pinion, Charlie Marshall, Lee Marshall and Joey Marshall.

Mrs. Marshall was born May 6, 1924, in Obion County, daughter of the late Horace Frank and Lessie Lee (Roberts) Williams. She married Fay Everett "Ebb" Marshall October 26, 1942. He died June 10, 1998. Mrs. Marshall had been employed at the former Salant & Salant and was a homemaker. She was a member of Reelfoot Baptist Church where she was a former senior adult ladies' Sunday School teacher for many years.

She is survived by four daughters and one son-in-law, Doris Marshall and Sherry Johnston both of the Clayton community, Myla and Bill Evans of Troy and Lori Morse of Westland, Michigan; two sons, Ronald Marshall and Terry Marshall both of the Clayton community; one sister, Lillie Carter of the Clayton community; two brothers, Robert Williams of the Clayton community and Charlie Williams of South Fulton; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary Marshall; two granddaughters, Heather Garner and Carlee Morse; one sister, Aritta Fowlkes; and one brother, Milton Williams.
