Daughter of John Sansain Johnson and Margie Ann Calloway; married 1) Edgar E. York 12 January 1908 Bradley County, Arkansas and 2) Edward Mike Baker 7 February 1923.
Mrs. Cynthia Ellen Baker of Ingalls was born in Bradley County December 5, 1884 and died on May 12 at the age of 59 years. She is survived by her husband, A. M. (E. M.) Baker, five daughters: Mrs. Hazel Raines, Mrs. Lola B. Huitt, Miss Margie Dean Baker of Ingalls, Mrs. Esther McKenzie of Marsden, and Mrs. Ethel Johnson of Georgetown, South Carolina; seven sons: Kermit York, U.S. Army, Elmer, Leroy, Nelson, and Noah (Noel) Baker of the U. S. Army, Boyd Baker of Ingalls, and Boyce (Bryce) Baker of Georgetown, South Carolina. Mrs. Baker is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Matt York and Mrs. Della Spraggins of Ingalls, Mrs. George Brown of Wilmar and Mrs. Mollie Sharp of Eagle Lake; five brothers, J. T. Johnson, W. L. Johnson, C. D. Johnson and J. A. Johnson of Ingalls, and J. S. Johnson of Pattsville. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Baptist church. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 and interment was made in Union Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Rolls Nixon conducted the services.
