Mrs. Violet Ryan Taken By Death
Rites will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson Funeral Home, for Mrs. Violet Ryan, 89, who died Sunday at her home on Corduroy Rd., Mentor Headlands. The Rev. Dayton B. Wright, rector of St. James' Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Born Dec. 4, 1861, in Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Ryan had resided here for some time. Her husband, Horace E., preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Ohlemacher of Mentor Headlands, and a son, Eugene Ryan of Long Beach, Cal.
Mrs. Ryan was a member of the Unitarian Church in Indianapolis.
