Son of Edward C. and Margaret Roach Shoup of 1320 New, St, Franklin, he died of anterior poliomyelitis, per death certificate 105786, whose informant was his mother. Buried Nov 28 1936.

Franklin News-Herald, Friday, Nov 27 1936:
Billy Terry Shoup, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. Perry, died at the family home, 1320 New Street, early this morning after an illness of five days with infantile paralysis. The child was born in Franklin Aug. 23, 1932, son of Edward C. and Margaret Roach Shoup.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Bobby; a sister, Betty; his maternal grandfather, William Roach of Pearl; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Shoup of Pearl.

Services will be at the family home Saturday afternoon with Rev. S. S. Clark, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
