Mary Owens SHORTSVILLE - Mary Owens, 61, of Hebron Avenue, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011. Mary was the daughter of the late Harold and Angela Becker and was a graduate of East Bloomfield High School. She had been a member of St. Mary's Church. She is survived by her husband, David Owens of Shortsville; children, Wendy Gordner of Canandaigua, Danny Shipman of Naples and Holly Wagner of Naples; three grandchildren, Thomas Gordner Jr., August Gordner and Jarrett Wagner; half-brother and -sister, Greg (Monica) Schenk and Peggy Schenk, of Naples; brother-in-law, Keven (Darlene) Shipman of Shortsville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Shipman; and son, Jeff. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family has suggested that contributions be directed to Sands Cancer Center, 360 Parrish St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
