Anthony Ray "Tony" Meador was born on June 7, 1952 in Salem, Illinois to Harold N. Meador and Frances I. (Hill) Meador. He passed from this life on January 20, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years, 7 months & 13 days.

Some of his many vocations over the years included working for Turner Brothers coal mines, a grocery store, auto mechanic, truck driver, crane operator for Webco and as a mechanic for Fiesta Pool & Spa. When he had time for himself, he loved to go "scrapping & junking" and spend time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents and several aunts & uncles.

Visitation hours have been scheduled from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Leonard & Marker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 25 in the Boynton First Assembly of God Church officiated by Rev. Cecil Guthrie, Rev. Kevin Lewis and Lance Tate. Interment will follow in the Haskell Cemetery. (Leonard and Marker Funeral Home)
