David Otto Griffith

Funeral services for David Griffith, 47 will be held Monday, May 13, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cashner Colonial Chapel, with Brother Charles Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery, with Cashner funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 12, 2002 from 1:00 until 9:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.

David Otto Griffin went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 10, 2002. David was born on April 11, 1955 in Baytown, Texas. He graduated from Milby High School in 1973 and continued his education at the University of Houston, graduating in 1977 with a BBA. David has been employed with Bechtel Corp as a Purchasing Manager for the last thirteen years.

David and his family are active members of the First Baptist Church of Willis, TX. David was also involved in the Quality Management Partnership of Willis Independent School District and the Willis Lions Club. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tammy Prisock Griffith; 12-year old son, Dawson Griffith; and 8-year old daughter, Payton Griffith. David is also survived by his mother, Edna Griffith of Conroe; sister and husband, Pam and Joe Demaret of Houston; brother and wife, Lessly and Karla Griffith of Houston; sister and husband, Tina and John Martindale of Nacogdoches; sister and husband, Susan and Mark Clark of Pasadena; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Virginia and Gene Prisock of Conroe; sister-in-law and husband Janet and Bill Dambrova of The Woodlands; nieces and nephews, Karolyn Lawrence and husband Keith, Johnny Kozloski, Joey Demaret and wife Vicky, Gina Carson and husband Brann, Kayla Towle and husband Chris, Angela Martindale, Waylon Clark, Dylon Clark, Tori Clark, Christopher Rankin and wife Miki, Wes Rankin and wife Jessica; great nieces and nephews, Ashley Lawrence, Elijah Lawrence, Kyndall Caarson, Meagan Demaret, Monte Rankin; and godchild, Lindsey. His father, Dean Otto Griffith preceded David in death.

Pallbearers are Christopher Rankin, Wesley Rankin, Johnny Kozloski, Keith Lawrence, Brann Carson and Chris Towle.
