Millie was born and raised in St. Helena, California, where she graduated from high school in 1938. After having attended Merit Business College in Oakland in 1939, she moved to Sebastopol where she met her husband, Harold, and they were married in 1941.
During her 66 years of marriage, she and Harold raised 3 children, traveled to numerous foreign countries, took many road trips across the United States and belonged to various clubs and organizations.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Frances McMillen; sisters Ruby Young, Dorothy Harrison, and Marjorie Rovera; brothers Ervin and Billy and granddaughter, Lindsay Fiddler.
