Marjorie "Margie" Ann Chandler Borup Davis

BRIGHAM CITY – Marjorie Ann Chandler Borup Davis 78, passed away peacefully Friday
Afternoon, January 17, 2014, at the Ogden Regional Hospital.
On October 12, 2002, Mrs. Davis married Alvern Wilbur Davis in the LDS Ogden Temple.
Margie was born on April 16, 1935 in New Plymouth, Idaho to Paul Whitney and Zola Eliza Kimball Chandler and attended elementary and secondary schools in Idaho. She achieved a Bachelors degree from Weber State University and studied Sociology and Psychology at Utah State University.
Previously married to Dr. Jerry Hamilton Borup and William Dean Hendry. Nothing meant more to her than her family. She performed her roles as
Matriarch, wife, mom, grandma, and sister with great sensitivity and devotion, wearing herself thin keeping track of all the activities and working full-time to support the family. Margie also cared deeply about her church service working in various callings and was proud that all seven children served full-time LDS missions.
Margie is survived by 7 children: Mark (Myrna), Mel (Sandra), Jerry
Lynn, Kellie, Phillip (Shawn), Carl (Dianna), and Lance (Carmen), from her
Marriage to Dr. Jerry Hamilton Borup; she is survived by 35 grandchildren and 38 Great Grand children. Al's Children: Samuel (Robin) Davis, Marcelene (Allen) Meese, Rhonda (Ken) Personette, Gwendolyn (James) Moulton, Loralei (Lori), Brenda (Phil) Moulton, A brother Dr. Donald Chandler (Mary) and a sister, Carolyn Morrill (LeRoy). She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and siblings Charlene Chandler and David Chandler (Jeanette).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014, at the
River Ward Chapel, 531 N. 100 W. Brigham City. Friends may call Wednesday, January 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
