A funeral was 11 a.m. Monday, July 10 at Greenville Baptist Church. The Rev. Jonathan Porter and the Rev. Ron Capes officiated and burial was in the Greenville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tommy Baker, Harold Shelton, Barry Murphy, James Lawrence, Cy A. Gasses and Bo Argroves.
Mrs. Ward was born September 7, 1933 in Chipley, daughter of the late Lovie and Beulah McKenzie Baker. She had lived at St. Marks for the past 18 years and was a member of the Greenville Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Dewey R. Ward of St. Marks; daughter and son-in-law, Lydia and Alan Garner of McDonough; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas Randall and Anne Ward of Roswell; brother, Thomas E. Baker of LaGrange; five grandchildren.
