Glenn J. "Freddie" Anhalt Age 64 of Plymouth, WI

Passed away early Saturday evening (Jan. 18) at Aurora Memorial Medical Center in Sheboygan from complications of pneumonia. He was born on June 14, 1949 in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Roland and Laurine (Eberle) Anhalt. He attended St. John the Baptist Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971 serving in the Vietnam conflict. On November 6, 1971, he married Connie Kupsh in Kellnersville, WI. The couple resided in Sheboygan from 1971-1974 and since 1974 in Plymouth. In his youth, he worked as a paperboy and in high school he worked at Westphalen Mink Ranch in Plymouth and after high school he worked at Borden's Foods (now known as American Dairy Brands) for 43 years retiring in June of 2010. In his retirement he worked for Federated Auto Parts in Sheboygan. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. He was a former member of the Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 and also in his early years bowled at Anchor Lanes for the Voelker Team and also golfed for many years in the Manno League at Crystal Lake. Glenn loved to fish, spending many years at the Sheboygan pier, wood working, driving around in his Corvette and riding on his John Deere tractor, watching racing at Road America and enjoyed a recent trip to the Indy 500. He loved to be involved with anyone's project and was always there to lend a hand.

Survivors Omitted

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday evening (Jan. 22) at 7:00 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the CHURCH from 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Glenn's name. Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 will conduct military rites at the church following services. The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services is serving his family. The family would like to send special thanks to Aurora Medical Center staff and nurses for all your care, compassion and love shown to Glenn and to all his friends and family for all your prayers and support.
