The funeral of Nora Adlantha Scott was held from Simmons chapel Thursday, May 7, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Dan Tyson officiating. Interment was in Fairview cemetery.

Obituary: Nora Adlantha Aldrich, daughter of Charles and Laura Aldrich, was born near Smith Center, Kan. Nov. 17, 1878.On November 15, 1899, she was united in marriage to John Winfield Scott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, one sister, a half-brother, a half-sister and her husband who passed away in 1955.

Nora had been in failing health for some time and had spent the last 16 months in the Morgan nursing home in Inavale, Neb. where she passed away May 5, 1959, at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 19 days.She had been a member of the local Presbyterian church since 1952.
