Catron-Gay Funeral Home in Delhi announced that last rites will be held from the First Baptist Church here with Rev. G. F. Stinebough officiating, but definite time had not been set.
Interment is to be in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mannie [sic Nannie] Minter, Delhi; four sons, Fred Minter, Richmond, Va., Jack Minter, Waverly, La., Marshal Minter, Baltimore, Md., and David K. Minter, Jr., U.S. Navy stationed at Newport, R.I.; one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Osbon, Delhi; three brothers, George Minter, Hattiesburg, Miss., Joe Minter, Ellisville, Miss., and Scott Minter, Seminary, Miss.
Five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Brewer, Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Kate Lewis, Alpoca, Ga., Mrs. Sadie May, Foxforth, Miss., Mrs. Josie Mitchell, Hattiesburg, Miss., and Mrs. Laurie Flowers, Ellisville, Miss.
He also leaves 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
