Death claimed as a victim this morning Mrs. A. M. Lane of Cuero. She was the mother of Mrs. W. M. Atkinson of this place.
Mrs. Lane removed from Mississippi with her husband Sam Lane in 1852 and settled in DeWitt Co. where she has since resided.s
At the time of her death she was eighty-five years old and leaves to mourn her loss children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.
Mrs. Lane was a member of the Presbyterian church, and will be buried at 9 a.m. tomorrow from her home in Cuero.
The Inquirer joins the many friends of Mrs. Atkinson in extending sympathy in her bereavement.
