Mr. Amaral was born on June 25, 1929 in Stonington, CT. He is the son of the late Manuel Amaral & Nellie McDonnell Amaral. He retired from Florida Power & Light and he served in the US Army during the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart.
Survivors include: Wife: Sandy Amaral of the home; 4 Children Cathy Amaral, Johnny Amaral, Aileen Amey & Jim & Marise Rowell; 7 Grandchildren Angela, Joseph, Jessica, Rebecca, Joleen, Rachel & Crystal; 1 Great grandchild Wyatt; Brother: Eugene Amaral; Sisters & brother-in-law: Aileen Danahy, Betty & Dick Gomes; Several Nieces & Nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Sat. Dec. 18 at 1:00pm from the Palmettto Presbyterian Church in Palmetto,Fl. A Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall located at 1115 10th Ave. Palmetto Fl. Bernhardt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
