Woman Who Spends Winters Here Dies

Mrs. Ona Lake, 73, who spent her last 10 winters at Lewiston with a son, died early yesterday of a stroke while visiting relatives at Malta, Mont.

She was born Nov. 2, 1893 in Missouri. She was married to Andrew Anderson July 25, 1925. He died in 1937.

She was married to William J. Lake of Malta Aug. 7, 1959, and he died Sept. 29, 1965.

Mrs. Lake spent most of her life in Montana around Malta and Loring and maintained her home at Loring in recent years. She spent the winters at Lewiston with her son, James M. Anderson, 1202 11th Street.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vida Martin, Eugene, Ore.; a brother, Stanley Kellough, Houston, Texas, and nine grandchildren.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Merchant Chapel, Clarkston. The Rev. Park Reed of the Lewiston Tabernacle Assembly will officiate. Burial will be at Normal Hill Cemetery.
