PLATTSBURGH---Wayne LaClair, 71, formerly of Jersey Swamp Road, passed away on October 29, 2012 at Bishop Joseph Regan Memorial Hospital in Tagum City, Philippines. He was born in Chateaugay, NY on December 1, 1940, the son of Peter and Rose Alma (Richey) LaClair. Wayne worked at The Plaza Barber Shop in the Plattsburgh for over 42 years. During his last few years at the Barber Shop Wayne purchased and took ownership. He was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life. Survivors include three sons, one brother, two sisters, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, one brother, Este LaClair, and three sisters, Rose Kette, Amy Colburn, and Geraldine LaClair. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh. Donations in his memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.
