He is survived by his wife, Frances Bowman Burress of Moro, son Bob Burress of England, sister Leloa Steward of Forrest City, one granddaughter, two grandsons, and two great granddaughters. Funeral services were held Monday, February 14, 1994 at the First Baptist Church of Moro, with Rev. Steve Altheide and the Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery with Bob Neal Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Jimmy Neal Bickerstaff, Johnny Dozier, Mark Waldrip, Ralph Bowman, Dusty Wilson, and Lenard Walker.
