Mrs. Mae DAY, 93, Akron, died early Sunday morning at her home. She had been in failing health for several years. Born Aug. 31, 1876 in Fulton county, she was the daughter of William and Clarrisa McQUERN WOOD. She was married to Charles E. DAY, who died in 1946. She was a member of the Akron United Methodist church, the WSCS of the church, the DAR at Rochester and was an honorary member of the Akron Woman's club. Surviving are two sons, Joe DAY, Akron, and Earl DAY, West Hollywood, Fla.; two grandchildren, Dick DAY of Akron and Pat QUINN of West Hollywood, and four great-grandchildren. Last rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Haupert funeral home in Akron with the Revs. John MOORE and Claude FAWNS officiating. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
