Constance “Gustie” Muchowski, age 99, of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died early Friday morning, April 10, 1998, at the Shady Lane Home.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 1998, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Roman Zbieranski will officiate, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born November 5, 1898, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Anton and Mary Nowak Zigmund. Constance worked in the past for National Tinsel Company. On June 12, 1923, she married Matt J. Muchowski at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1955. Constance was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Harold and Marion Muchowski, and Eugene Muchowski, all of Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Arnold Bodart; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and niece, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Matt Muchowski; three brothers, Felix, Edmund, and Leo Zigmund; one sister, Julia; one daughter-in-law, Vivian Muchowski; and one grandson, Mitchell Muchowski.
Friends may call at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m.
